Frequently asked questions

Can I build my own interval session?

Yes. Set prepare, work, rest, set-break and cooldown durations, then choose the number of rounds and sets.

Why did I not receive every phase alert?

Notification access or operating-system scheduling may be unavailable or limited. IntervalFlow schedules a bounded number of upcoming phase alerts and refreshes later alerts when you reopen the app.

Will an active timer survive reopening the app?

Yes. The active run, elapsed time and its settings are stored locally so the timer can reconcile when the app opens again.

Where is my IntervalFlow data stored?

Your app content is stored in local app storage on your device. IntervalFlow has no account or cloud-sync service. Depending on your settings, local data may be included in an operating-system or cloud backup.

Can I turn analytics and crash reports off?

Yes. Open the Privacy control inside IntervalFlow and change your choice at any time. Analytics and crash reporting are off by default and start only after you enable them.

Why does IntervalFlow request device permission?

Optional notification permission for phase-boundary alerts Exact-alarm scheduling on Android for interval boundaries Vibration for phase changes while the app is open You can deny or later change permission in device settings; the related feature may then be unavailable.

Does IntervalFlow show ads or require an account?

No. The current version has no advertising SDK, login, account system, subscription, or in-app purchase.

The app closed unexpectedly. What should I send?

Tell us your device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and the steps immediately before the issue. A screenshot can help, but hide anything you do not want to share.
