Yes. You can tap the map to add boundary corners manually. Precise foreground location is requested only when you use Locate me or Walk boundary.

While walking a boundary, the app ignores fixes with accuracy worse than 35 meters and points less than 2 meters from the previous accepted point.

No. The calculations are planning estimates from consumer GPS or manually selected map points and are not professional or legal surveys.

Your app content is stored in local app storage on your device. FieldSpan has no account or cloud-sync service. Depending on your settings, local data may be included in an operating-system or cloud backup.

On iOS, Apple’s system App Tracking Transparency (ATT) setting is the only telemetry control. Apple’s system prompt appears only while the status is not determined. To review or change your choice, open Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and select FieldSpan. Firebase remains unconfigured unless ATT is authorized, and every app feature remains available either way. On Android, the current shared telemetry path is disabled.

No. The current version has no ad-display SDK, does not show in-app ads, and has no login, account system, subscription, or in-app purchase. After iOS ATT authorization, Firebase may use IDFA only for installation attribution and advertising measurement as described in the Privacy Policy.
